About Amritha Alladi
Amritha Alladi is a senior journalism student at the University of Florida. Additionally, she anchors and produces morning, midday and evening news for UF's CBS affiliate station WRUF-AM850. Her visits to India every year with her family have encouraged her to pursue internships at CNN-IBN and The Hindu, India's national newspaper, following her graduation from UF in December 2008. Her blog, Natyarasa: The Essence of Dance, explores the expression of Indian identity outside the subcontinent.
About Alexander Austin
Alex Austin is a journalism senior at the University of Florida. He interned last summer at The St. Johns Sun, a small community paper in St. Johns, Fla. He hopes to graduate in August 2009 and work as a reporter for a community paper. Eventually, he would like to write for an online publication specializing in music or politics. He currently writes a blog about indie rock music and its influences.
About Noel Sanchez
Noel Sanchez is a 21-year-old journalism senior at the University of Florida. When she's not at school, Noel works as the copy desk chief at the Independent Florida Alligator. She loves editing and maintains a blog about the ins and outs of working at the copy desk. Originally from Miami, she now lives in Gainesville, Fla. She is set to graduate in December and hopes to work as a either a copy editor or a online producer for a newspaper after graduation.
