For this report, we interviewed Thomas Wright, an orthopedic surgeon and professor at the University of Florida, and Bethany Betchel and Charles Burnell, two certified acupuncture practitioners in Gainesville, Fla.

Thomas Wright explains that some of his arthritis patients have opted for acupuncture treatment. While some of his patients have benefited from acupuncture, just as many have not. He also makes the point that acupuncture does not treat arthritis, but the pain caused by arthritis.



Charles Burnell
discusses why osteoarthritis sufferers turn to acupuncture after exhausting modern medicine. He shares his own patients' experiences after finally trying acupuncture.
